The fastest, loudest and most powerful MINI Hardtop four-door has arrived.
Dubbed the Carbon Edition, the model starts as a MINI Cooper S Hardtop 4-Door model and then gets a John Cooper Works Pro Tuning Kit, a valve exhaust system and high-grade carbon fiber accessories.
The result is 208 horsepower (versus 189 hp standard) from a MINI sporting an ultra-aggressive exhaust note as well as Sport and Track modes. According to MINI, the exhaust flap can be operated wirelessly with two clicks of the Bluetooth controller and can unleash “devilish backfire pops and crackling sound on the overrun.”
To live up to its name, MINI has added genuine carbon fiber mirror caps, air intake trim and exhaust tip finishers that are offset against Midnight Black metallic paint and exclusive matte black sport and side stripes further accented by a red pinstripe.

Buyers can also add the JCW Exterior Package, which adds an aggressively-styled body kit, rear spoiler and 17-inch JCW Track Spoke Black Wheels. On the inside, the MINI Carbon Edition is outfitted with an 8.8-inch high-resolution screen with navigation system, JCW steering wheel, sunroof, heated seats and MINI’s Harman/Kardon premium sound system.
The MINI Carbon Edition will start from $37,100 including destination and comes standard with a manual transmission. Opting for an automatic will cost $1,500 additional.
